Well, our first faire here in Michigan is underway as of Memorial day weekend. Mayfaire renaissance festival in Marshall Michigan was a great success even with the rain. Wonderful Merchant’s and fellow Entertainer’s were there along with myself to have a wondrous weekend of Enchantment, great turkey legs, and fantastic drum circles with belly dancers.
I averaged about 5 shows a day including minstrelling on corners (which actually worked better for ohms….lol).
So once again another faire rises from the ashes of an unfortunate 11th hour cancellation in 2008. The Washington Renaissance Fantasy Faire (formerly known generally as Gig Harbor Faire) is returning once again for the first three weekends in August.
