Compensation: Tips and the smiles we bring to the people we perform for. Festival experience for resume.
Purpose:
Guild of Saint Winifred’s is holding auditions for the 2009 Utah Renaissance Festival and Fantasy Faire. Saint Winifred’s is a Renaissance/ Medieval Reenactment Group. Our members have performed in the streets at the Utah Renaissance Festival and at the Lavender festival. We also have been invited to book release parties. Our group is about interacting with the customers.
Dates of the 2009 Utah Renaissance Festival and Fantasy Faire are May 8,9,10 and 15,16,17.
We are looking for singers, musicians, dancers, acrobats, jugglers, and people to portray nobles, peasants, fantasy characters, court jesters, middle class merchants, mongers, etc. No previous acting experience needed, but helpful. We will be holding free workshops on costuming, language, and interaction.
If under age 18, must have a guardian or appointed faire guardian with you at all times during workshops and while on the faire site.
