Saint’s relics uncovered in the Rhodoppe Mountains

Professor Nikolay Ovcharov and his team of archaeologists have uncovered two bronze crosses at the fortress of Perperikon, in the Rhodoppe Mountains, Bulgaria. One of the crosses contained the remains of human bones that appear to be the relics of a saint. Unfortunately, we will probably never know which saint, since there are no inscriptions or other clues, but the find is nevertheless delightfully intriguing.
